I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and received my B.S. with Honors at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

I then moved to Southern California and received my MD with Honors in 1996 from the University of Southern California. I then completed 3 years of additional training in Anesthesiology at the UCLA Medical Center.

​

I have been in private practice since 2000 and I am Board-Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

​

I am an Examiner & Expert Consultant for the Dental Board of CA. I am a Safety Inspector for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities.

​

I am certified in Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. 

​

I regularly teach students as I am a Clinical Professor at Western University of Health Sciences and a Lecturer at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry.

​

In addition to dental anesthesia, I perform a wide range of OR anesthesia. For the last 15+ years, I have been the Director of Anesthesia for Dr. Daniel Kharrazi,  former Team Physician for the Los Angeles Lakers.

​

I have received the Physician of Excellence Award from the Orange County Medical Association multiple times.

​

I regularly donate my time and services, and I have been recognized as the "Anesthesiologist of the Year" by the  Fresh Start Surgical Charity.
